How do you fancy an action-packed spirit story with a jinn as one of the main characters and wait, is part of the jinn may be a zombie-type being who survives through blood lust, even the blood of those sold into slavery? Sound different? The story is so action-packed it will leave you breathless at the end of each chapter but wanting more as well… A heartfelt struggle resulting in scary action, magic, and ancient fable and leaving the reader with questions about how they view their own life and the life of others.
After all the cooking and cleaning for the festive season, I thought we all need a virtual hug.... *wink-wink*

The two main characters are so totally different that I enjoyed getting to know each of them and LOVED watching the delicate and often hilarious process through which they came together and eventually found love… This is a sweet, tender love story that speaks eloquently to a cultural merging which, in the end, adds the kind of richness to John and Ilhan’s story that nothing else could possibly provide. Their HEA is hard-fought at times, but their journey to find that happiness is a warm and wonderful read. Highly recommended!!
